Word of Week “Meekness”

Word of Week “Meekness”

Meekness is often understood as gentle strength or humility. It is not weakness, but rather the ability to maintain calm, composed, and patient behavior, even in challenging circumstances. It is a quiet confidence and the strength to persevere. Like an elephant who has the power to destroy, yet the control to enjoy.

“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.” – Matthew 5:5 (ESV)

“Meekness is not weakness; it is strength under control.” – John MacArthur

Heavenly Father, provide for us the spirit of meekness, that we may practice, humility, patience and gentleness in all we do. While being understanding towards others. Amen.
